Steve Parsons

Steve Parsons is a full time professional celebrant offering a Premium service. He is in high demand for both weddings and funerals as well as other ceremonies. Steve is one of the best known identities in the Illawarra with over 40 years experience as a highly succesful radio personality, TV news presenter, Master of Ceremonies, compere, guest speaker and host of some the most important events held in the region including the 2000 Olympic Torch Relay, various Carols By Candlelight, many concerts and major community events. Steve presented the number one Breakfast radio program in the Illawarra on 2WL/WAVE FM for 25 years, was a news and sport presenter on Prime TV, has been a regular newspaper columnist and spent several years at senior management level in broadcasting. As well he has hosted the Breakfast and Drive programs on 2GB in Sydney and worked at TCN Channel 9. Steve has broadcast from London, New York, Dublin, Beijing, Vancouver, Los Angeles, Hong Kong and other world cities and was a guest host on radio KHOW 63 in Denver Colorado in 1988. Steve is now heard on 97.3 ABC Illawarra.

Steve is married to Tessa, who is a manager in the community sector and is his celebrant assistant. They are the parents of four adult children and grandparents of three .
